I believe everyone deserves a safe and compassionate space where they can feel heard, supported, and understood. I work with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges, offering a welcoming environment focused on healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
I have a special passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, and other difficult life experiences. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and centered on meeting you where you are. Together, we can work toward building resilience, discovering your strengths, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
My approach to care is integrative, compassionate, and person-centered. I draw from trauma-informed care, culturally responsive practices, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create a treatment experience tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian counseling in a respectful and supportive environment.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Mandarin, I provide therapy in both languages and bring a deep appreciation for the cultural experiences that shape each individual and family. My background has given me a meaningful understanding of immigrant, multicultural, and interracial family dynamics, including the challenges of navigating cultural differences, identity, relationships, and family expectations.
I believe in the resilience and potential within every person. It is an honor to walk alongside you as you heal, discover your strengths, and move toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
After high school, I came to the United States to pursue my education. I later began my career here and built a multicultural marriage and family. Having lived in the United States for nearly 20 years, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique struggles immigrant families may face, particularly in intimate relationships, cultural conflicts, and parenting. My personal background allows me to closely understand the challenges of navigating life between different cultures and to empathize with each person's unique journey and experiences.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I am committed to walking alongside each person as they navigate life's challenges and difficulties. I have experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including domestic violence. Depending on each client's individual needs, I use an integrative therapeutic approach to help them discover the support, strength, and resources that are right for them.
In my work, I incorporate trauma-informed care, culturally sensitive perspectives, Christian counseling, and other evidence-based approaches to support each person's unique needs. I especially enjoy using play therapy to support children and helping adolescents and adults find direction as they navigate personal growth and life transitions.
As a bilingual counselor fluent in English and Mandarin, I strive to provide a safe, accepting, and welcoming space where individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds can feel comfortable expressing themselves. I believe that every person has the capacity for healing and growth, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, restoration, and wholeness.

A counseling session with me is warm, collaborative, and centered on helping you feel safe, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where you can share openly at your own pace, without fear of judgment. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify patterns, and work toward practical steps that support healing and growth. Depending on your needs, our sessions may include trauma-informed care, culturally sensitive support, faith-based counseling, play therapy, or other evidence-based approaches. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and respect as you discover your strengths, build resilience, and move toward greater peace, clarity, and wholeness.
I understand that children and teens may feel nervous, unsure, or even resistant to counseling, especially when it is a new experience or not something they chose for themselves. I never expect a child or teen to immediately open up or share before they feel ready. Building trust and creating a sense of safety is an important part of the counseling process. I meet each child or teen where they are and take time to connect with them in ways that feel comfortable and natural. For younger children, this may include play, creativity, and age-appropriate activities. With teens, I focus on creating a respectful, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and have a voice in their own counseling experience. My goal is to build a genuine connection at their pace, helping them feel more comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together toward healing and growth.
Absolutely. Young adulthood can feel overwhelming as you navigate decisions about school, career, relationships, family, and your future. You do not have to have everything figured out. Together, we can explore what matters most to you, work through uncertainty, and identify your strengths and values. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can gain clarity, build confidence, and feel more prepared to take the next steps in your life.
